Recently, Rock Pond was hired to design a renovation of a home in Oak Bluffs that included removing a structural wall plus a few other smaller walls, creating 2 bathrooms out of one large bathroom, designing another bathroom remodel and finally, creating a kitchen design in what was the living room.
The photos you are see below where a structural wall was removed to open the space for a eat-in kitchen renovation. You’re seeing a temporary wall installed to hold up the building allowing the structural wall to be removed. Then you can see the 22 foot, 900 lb. steel beam that was installed to support the building. And finally you are able to see how the rooms look when the temporary wall was removed.
